The MAZE is a great opportunity to combine education and fun in a working farm environment. This year our design features a combine harvesting the corn. View the aerial photo of the maze.
This is a great setting to discuss with and teach your students about Agriculture in our area. A grass seed field surrounds the MAZE, which is over 7 acres in size (roughly 55 minutes to complete). It will be set to have either agricultural questions or “your own questions” at decision points within the maze that guide students through if they know the correct answer. Please feel free to let us know prior to your visit if there is anything that we can do to assist you in making your field trip meet the needs of your class.
Enjoy the farm setting with your students. Bring a sack lunch. There are many straw bales for your students to sit on. After lunch there will be a hayride available for those who wish to go. Please bring soccer balls and other outdoor games for the students. There’s lots of area to play in!
